Vitamin D for skin, hair and antiaging

Everyone knows that vitamin D3 or cholecalciferol is important for keeping bones healthy and strong. Acne

Causes and risk factors

The skin has thousands of tiny hair follicles. Each has a sebaceous gland that produces an oily substance, sebum. But growth factors become less plentiful with age, causing the fibroblasts to get sluggish. As the production of collagen- and elastin-producing fibroblasts slow down, enzymes in the skin begin to destroy the supportive matrix faster than it can be replenished, and that’s when fine lines , wrinkles, dullness and other signs of aging become apparent.

Why do we get wrinkles?

Wrinkles. Some women see them as the bane of their existence, and they actually go through all means they could possibly afford just to get those wrinkles off their faces, the means ranging from expensive creams to Botox to plastic surgery and facelift. Our culture and society is so youth-oriented that wrinkles, especially on women, have become totally undesirable.   .....
